Meal Prep

Meal prep is favoured by those running busy households, time poor workers and the super organised amongst us – but meal prep doesn’t have to mean five of the same breakfasts, lunches or snacks for the entire week, or require a collection of matching Tupperware.

Meal prep can be as simple as pre-cutting vege after the grocery shop to shortcut weeknight cooking, preparing double of your dinner for next day lunch
leftovers, or pre-cooking a protein to add to soups, salads, sandwiches, wraps and curries throughout the week. This could include boiling a few eggs, roasting a chicken or cooking up marinated lamb strips.

I cooked a 200g protein portion at dinner and left half to add to today’s lunch. Meal prep is best when kept simple and doesn’t have to take up your precious Sunday afternoons or cost a fortune
